“In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it” (Isaiah 2:2)
“The eyes of the arrogant man will be humbled and the pride of men brought low; the Lord alone will be exalted in that day” (Isaiah 2:11)
“Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?” (Isaiah 2:22)
THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD (vs. 1-5)
In the last days, the future Kingdom of God will be established. Many people will go up to the mountain of the Lord’s temple. He will teach them His ways from His Word. He will judge the nation and there will be peace among all nations. They will walk in the light of the Lord.
THE DAY OF THE LORD (vs. 6-21)
The day of the Lord is the end times. People will replace Bible with astrology and Eastern religions. They will worship idols, accumulate wealth and become arrogant and proud. But the Lord will humble the arrogant and bring down the pride of men. The Lord alone will be exalted in the day and all idols will totally disappear. Only those who trust the Lord will be protected in the days of judgment.[:]
