[:en]SCRIPTURE: ECCLESIASTES 10
“Whoever digs a pit may fall into it; whoever breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake. Whoever quarries stones may be injured by them; whoever spits logs may be endangered by them” (Ecclesiastes 10:8-9)
“Words from a wise man’s mouth are gracious, but a fool is consumed by his own lips” (Ecclesiastes 10:12)
“No one knows what is coming – who can tell him what will happen after him?” (Ecclesiastes 10:14)
“if a man is lazy, the rafters sag; if his hands are idle, the house leaks” (Ecclesiastes 10:18)
“A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes life merry, burt money is the answer for everything” (Ecclesiastes 10:19)
The world seems to honor the fools by putting them in many high positions (v. 5). However, we should not permit folly in our lives. Remember this golden rule: “Do not do unto others what you don’t want others to do unto you”.
Noble kings rule the land with good services (v. 17), but lazy kings waste the resources of the country (vs. 16-18). watch your words against the king and the rich, because the air may carry your words and report what you say (v. 20)[:]
