“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal” (Isaiah 26:4)
“As a woman with child and about to give birth writhes and cries out in her pain, so were we in your presence, O Lord” (Isaiah 26:17)
“See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will disclose the blood shed upon her; she will conceal her slain no longer” (Isaiah 26:21)
A SONG OF PRAISE
This chapter focused on the glory of God when He shall establish peace for the land of Judah. The Israelites sang songs of praise for the end of their tribulations. they were like women in travail who gave birth only to wind. But the Lord’s salvation opened the gates and enlarged the nation. He humbled the proud and made the way of the righteous smooth. He had gained galory and His people praise Him for His mercy.[:]
