[:en]SCRIPTURE: ISAIAH 33
“O Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress; The Lord is exalted, for he dwells on high; hge will fill zion with justice and righteousness. He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure” (Isaiah 33:5-6)
“For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us” (Isaiah 33:22)
Woe to the destroyers and traitors. They will be destroyed and betrayed.

- The brave men were crying aloud in the streets and the envoys of peace were weeping bitterly (v.. 7)
- Highways were deserted and not travelers on the road (v. 8a)
- The treaty was broken and its witnesses were despised, and no one was respected (v. 8b)
- People will be burned to lime (v. 12)
Who can dwell on the heights and took refuge in the mountain fortress with bountiful supply of bread and water? (vs. 15-16)
- He who walks and speaks righteously
- He who rejects gain from extortion and keeps his hand from accepting bribes
- He who stops his ears against plots of murder and shuts his eyes against contemplating evil
A godly remnant who trusts the Lord will no longer see arrogant people. Their eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode. The Mighty One will be their judge, their lawgiver and their king.[:]
