[:en]SCRIPTURE: ISAIAH 16
“In love a throne will be established; in faithfulness a man will sit on it – one from the house of David – one who in judging seeks justice and speeds the cause of righteousness” (Isaiah 16:5)
“But now the Lord says: “Within three years, as a servant bound by contract would count them, Moab’ splendor and all her many people will be despised, and her survivors will be very few and feeble” (Isaiah 16:14)
The rulers of nations will trample down the pride, conceit of Moab. Moabites will lament and grieve with tears. Joy and gladness will be taken away. Moab’s splendor and all her people will be despised and her survivors will be very few and feeble (v. 13)
Isaiah looked beyond and saw the Son of God from the house of David, who will sit on the throne to bring in justice and righteousness (v. 3)[:]
