[:en]SCRIPTURE:  ISAIAH 56

“This is what the Lord says: “Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed” (Isaiah 56:1)

“Blessed is the man who does this, the man who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil” (Isaiah 56:2)

The Lord told the Israelites to maintain what is right, keep the Sabbath and keep from doing evil.  For His salvation is close at hand )vs. 1-2).  He is going to accept the Gentiles, the outcast and the unreached.  Jesus Christ will break the wall between the Jews and Gentiles so that any sinner can come to the Savior and find forgiveness.

GOD’S ACCUSATION AGAINST THE WICKED

Israel was chose by God to lead the Gentiles to come to know Christ.  But instead, they adopted the false gods of the Gentiles.  Israel leaders were like blind watchmen, greedy beast, mute lazy dogs with mighty appetites.  They are selfish shepherds that sought for their own gain.  No wonder, the nation went into captivity.

How about our spiritual leaders are?  Jesus said: “My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations ” (V. 7)  What will outsiders see when they attend our church service today?
