[:en]SCRIPTURE: ISAIAH 50
“The Sovereign Lord has given me an instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught” (Isaiah 50:4)
“Because the Sovereign Lord Helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will be put to shame” (Isaiah 50:7)
“Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the word of his servant? Let him who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God” (Isaiah 50:10)
Because the nation of Israel turned to idols, they had committed spiritual adultery. So God had to put her away. But one day, when His chosen people will repent, He will forgive and restore them.
Jesus Christ is the faithful servant who has an instructed tongue tongue to sustain the weary with His word. He has opened ears to listen , a surrendered body to suffering and a set face to face the accuser (vs. 4-7)
Those who try to find their own way by themselves are walking in the light of fires. They will lie down in torment. But those who fear the Lord and obey His word shall not walk in the dark but in His everlasting light.[:]
