[:en]SCRIPTURE: JEREMIAH 33
“Call unto me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3)
“Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security” (Jeremiah 33:6)
“Then this city will bring me renown, joy praise and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it” (Jeremiah 33:9)
“The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will fulfill the gracious promise I made to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah” (Jeremiah 33:14)
PROMISES OF RESTORATION:
Through his prophet Jeremiah, God was sending a Promise of Restoration to Israel. If they call Him, he will answer and show them great and unsearchable things. (v. 3)
PROMISES OF GOD:
- I will bring health and healing to my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security (v. 6)
- I will bring Judah and Israel back from captivity and rebuild them (v. 7)
- I will cleanse and forgive them for all their sins (v. 8)
- I will let the city bring me renown joy, peace and honor before all nations on earth (v.9a)
- I will provide abundant prosperity and peace (v. 9b)
- I will bring sounds of joy and gladness to my house (v.11)
- I will restore the fortunes of the desolate land (v.11)
- I will fulfill the gracious promise I made to Israel and Judah (v. 14)
- I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line (v. 15)
- I will not break the covenant of David and Levites (vs.19-21)
- I will make the descendants of David and Levites as countless as the stars and as measureless as the sand on the seashore (v. 22)
- I will not reject the descendants of Jacob and David (vs. 25)
- I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them (v. 26)
These will happen will Jesus Christ, the Son of David will reign on earth and make Jerusalem a city of righteousness. Now, he reigns in our lives. Let us be his minister to bring the message of spiritual health, repentance and salvation as we await for His second coming.[:]
