[:en]SCRIPTURE:  EZEKIEL 26

“I will bring you to a horrible end and you will be no more; You will be sought, but you will never again be found, declares the Sovereign Lord” (Ezekiel 26:21)

A PROPHECY AGAINST TYRE (vs. 1-21)

The word of the Lord came to Ezekiel conferning Tyre:

1.  Her walls will be destroyed and towers pulled down.  She will become a bare rock (v. 4)
2. She will become a place to spread fish nets (v. 5)
3. Her settlements will be ravaged by the sword (v. 6)
4. Babylonian armies will kill people with swords, plunder her wealth and loot her merchandise (vs. 7-14)
5. Her people will go down to the pit with horrible end (vs. 20-21)
