[:en]SCRIPTURE:  HOSEA 13

“But I am the lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt.  You shall acknowledge no God but e, no savior except me.  I cared for you in the desert, in the land of burning heat.  When I fed them, they were satisfied; when they were satisfied, they became proud; then they forgot me” (Hosea 13:4-6)

“The people of Samaritan must bear their guilt, because they have rebelled against their God.  They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open” (Hosea 13:16)

THE LORD’S ANGER AGAINST ISRAEL

Ephraim was a great tribe in Israel.  But they were guilty of Baal worship.  They made idols from their silver and offer human sacrifice to calf & idols.  God would make them like the morning mist and early dew that disappears, like chaff swirling from a threshing floor, like smoke escaping through a window (v. 3)

God brought them our of Egypt.  He fed and cared for them in the dessert but when they were satisfied, they became proud and forgot Him.  Therefore, God would come to them like a lion, a leopard, a bear to attack and devour them.  He will have no compassion because they had rebelled against Him.  They will fall by the sword, their pregnant women ripped open and their little ones dashed to the ground.[:]
