Bible Verses:
“So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come.” (Mark 3:23-26)
“Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter, 29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.” (Mark 3:28-29)
“Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.” (Mark 3:35)
Lord of the Sabbath (vs. 1-6)
During the Sabbath day, Jesus healed a man with a shriviled hand. When the Pharisees and Herodians saw it, they began to plot on how to kill Jesus.
CROWDS FOLLOW JESUS (vs. 7-12)
Crowds from many places – Judea, Jerusalem, Idumea, Jordan, Tyre and Sidon followed Jesus because he had healed many diseases. They evil spirit recognized him saying: “Yu are the Son of God”. So the disciples a small boat to keep the people from crowding him.

JESUS AND BEELZEBUB (vs. 20-30)
The teachers of the law said the Jesus was possessed by Beelzebub. That is why he can drive out demons. (v. 22). But Jesus refuted them by saying: “How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand” (vs. 23-24). And he told them that whoever blasphemies against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin” (v. 29).
JESUS’ MOTHER AND BROTHERS (v.s 31-35)
Jesus considers those who do thje will of God is His brother, sister and mother.
THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER:
- It is right to do good on the Sabbath day.
- Jesus can heal all kinds of disease
- Be one of God’s disciple to proclaim the gospel
- Sin against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable.
- Whoever does the will of God is the brother, sister or mother of Jesus.
