SCRIPTURE: COLOSSIANS 4
BIBLE VERSE:
“Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair, because you know that you also have a Master in heaven.” (Colossians 3:1)
“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. ” (Colossians 3:2)
“Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.” (Colossians 3:5-6)

CO-WORKERS OF PAUL:
- Tychicus (vs. 7-8) – He accompanied Paul fro Ephesus and labored with him for 3 years. He carried the letter to Colossians and Ephesians.
- Onesimus (v. 9) – A run)away slave of Philemon and a convert of Paul. He went back to Colossae carrying Paul’s letter to his master Philemon.
- Aristarchus (v.10) – He accompanied Paul during that terrible storm en route to Rome.
- Marcus (v. 10) – also called John Mark, cousin of Barnabas. Although he had “fallen out” with Paul before, but Paul admitted that Mark was profitable in the ministry.
- Jesus-Justus (v. 11) – a Jewish believer whose Hebrew name was Joshua translated “Jesus” in Greek. He worked with Paul and encouraged him during his days in prison.
- Epaphras (vs. 12-13) – A Gentile who founded the church at Colossae. He is a prayer warrior who prayed that Colossians might stand “mature and full” in God’s will.
- Luke (v. 14) – he was the Gentile physician who joined Paul at Troas and later wrote the books of Luke and Acts.
- Archippus (v. 17) – Paul told him to fulfill his ministry in the Lord.
LESSONS:
- We must devote ourselves to prayer and be “alert” in prayer.
- We must be thankful for all the blessings God has given us.
- We must seek every opportunity to proclaim the Good News of salvation.
- We must always be connected to Jesus to have a deeper spiritual life.
- We must always be gracious and courteous in our speech.
