DIVISION OF THE REST OF THE LAND (vs. 1-10)
Joshua instructed the Israelites to go and make a survey of the land and write a description of it. Then, he cast lots to distribute the land.
ALLOTMENT FOR BENJAMIN (vs. 11-28)
The lot came up for the tribe of Benjamin, clan by clan. Their allotted territories and the boundaries on the north, south, west and east were marked out and recorded.
