SCRIPTURE: JOB 40
When Job met God, he had nothing to say. His answer was: “I am unworthy” (vs. 4-5)
Then God asked him the following questions:
- Would you discredit my justice? Would you condemn me to justify yourself> (v. 8)
- Do you have an arm like God’s and can your voice thunder like his? (v. 9)
- Can you explain the behemoth and capture him by the eyes, or trap him and pierce his nose? (vs. 15-24)
THOUGHTS:
Job would be afraid to fight behemoth, but he was not afraid to challenge God, his creator. Job could not control the animals but he wanted to tell God what to do. Similarly, man is the creature of God. But man wants to be the creator as what Satan wants. Always remember that we are God’s creation and not God. So, we have to submit to Him.
