HOW DID DAVID PETITIONED GOD?

- I wait for you, O Lord; you will answer, O Lord my God. (v. 15)
- O Lord, do not forsake me, be not far from me, O my God. (v. 21)
- Come quickly to help me, O Lord my Savior. (v. 22)
THOUGHTS:
David expressed sorrow for his sins because sin led him to health problems. He was experiencing extreme loneliness because he was separated from God. But when he confessed and repented of his sins, God forgave him and delivered him from sin’s eternal circumstances.
Sin comes as a friend to entice you and later becomes a master to enslave you. It puts a wall between you and God and build a bridge between you and those who want to exploit you. So, the only hope is to confess your sins to God and cry out for His mercy.
