  3.  He silenced the foes and the avengers. (v. 2b)
  4.  He had set in place the moon and the stars. (v. 3)
  5.  He cared for man. (v. 4)
  6.  He made man a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. (v. 5)
  7.  He made man ruler over the works of His hands. (v. 6a)
  8.  He put all flocks and herds, the beasts of the fields, the birds of the air and the fish of the sea under man’s command. (vs, 6-8)

THOUGHTS:

Why should God pay attention to a weak and insignificant man?  Because God sees man important since we are made in His image.  Although man has sinned and lost his dominion, but Jesus Christ has regained it for us.  He has a purpose for each one of us to fulfill.  We can “reign in life” through His Son for we are enthroned in the heavenlies with Him.  One day, God will come to judge the world.  Have you believed in Christ as your Savior?  Do you let Jesus rule and reign in your life?

God gave human being tremendous authority to be in charge of the whole earth.  But with great authority requires great responsibility.  God will hold us accountable as stewards of his creations.  We are responsible to take care of our environment.
