THOUGHTS:
Why was David not afraid of his enemies? It was because he trusted in God. He said: “In God I trust. I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?” (v. 11). The secret of David’s courage was his trust in God. So, when you are in deepest sorrow and wavering between fear and faith, remember that God cares and understands you. He knows every problem and sees every tear.
