SCRIPTURE: PSALM 121
MEMORY VERSES:
“I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth” (Psalm 121:1-2)
“The Lord watches over you – the Lord is your shade at your right hand” (Psalm 121:4)
“The Lord will keep you from all harm – He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going, both now and forevermore” (Psalm 121:7-8)
BENEFITS OF BEING WATCHED BY THE MAKER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH:
- You will neither slumber or sleep. (v. 4)
- The sun will not harm you day by day nor the moon by night. (v. 6)
- You will be kept from all harm. (v. 7)
- Your coming and going will be safe both now and forevermore. (v. 8)
THOUGHTS:
The Psalmist revealed that God was his helper, watcher and keeper. He expressed assurance and hope in God’s protection day and night. He acknowledged His almighty power for being able to watch over his life and keep him from all harm. You can also claim all His promises if you fully trust in Him.
