SCRIPTURE: PSALM 122
MEMORY VERSES:
“For the sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, “peace be within you.”, For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity” (Psalm 122:8-9)
The Psalmist expressed his happiness in going to the house of God. Their purpose was to praise the name of the Lord because the tribes were there to celebrate the greatness and goodness of God. They also wanted to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

THINGS TO PONDER:
- Do you rejoice going to the church to worship God? If you are close to God, you will enjoy his presence.
- Do you praise God for His greatness and goodness to you? Have you thanked Him for what he has done for you?
- Have you prayed behalf of fellow brothers and sisters who are in need of comfort, encouragement and assistance?
- Do you pray for peace of our nation? Real peace comes from faith in Christ.
