Our Daily Scripture – 4/13/24 (Saturday)

SCRIPTURE:  PSALM 134

MEMORY VERSE:

“Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord.  May the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, bless you from Zion” (Psalm 134:2-3)

During the days of David, the servants of the Lord ministered by night in the house of the Lord.   This is an important ministry.  David gave thanks to them and asked God to bless them.

THOUGHTS:

Jesus Christ is the High Priest in heaven who intercedes for us day and night.  He never grows weary or impatient.  Do you give thanks to Him?

If you are serving in the church, do you make your responsibility an act of praise by doing it ungrudgingly?  How is the quality of your work and the attitude of service to the Lord?  Are you willing to serve others even in the night?
