SCRIPTURE: PSALM 135
MEMORY VERSES:
“Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant” (Psalm 135:3)
“Your name, O Lord, endures forever, your renown, O Lord, through all generations. For the Lord will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants” (Psalm 135:13-14)
“Praise the Lord” appears 9 times in this chapter.
REASONS WHY WE SHOULD PRAISE THE LORD:
- He is good (v. 3)
- He is great. (v. 5)
- He is wonderful. (vs. 6-7)
- He is all powerful. (vs. 8-12)
- He is compassionate. (v. 14)
THOUGHTS:
The Psalmist emphasized the importance to ‘PRAISE THE LORD”. Often times, we forget all the wonderful things God has done for us and do not give thanks nor praise Him. We should always remember that God is almighty and there is no other god. He created the heavens and the earth. He provides our needs, gives us comfort and brings us salvation. So ‘PRAISE THE LORD” everyday.!
