SCRIPTURE: PROVERBS 8
MEMORY VERSES:
“Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.” (Proverbs 8:10-11)
“To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have understanding and power.” (Proverbs 13-14)
My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver. I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice, bestowing wealth on those who love me and making their treasuries full.” (Proverbs 8:19-21)
“Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord.” (Proverbs 8:34-36)
WISDOM’S CALL (vs. 1-36)
When wisdom calls out, listen to the word of her mouth. For they let you gain prudence, understanding, wisdom speech, truth and justice. It is more precious than rubies for nothing can compare with her.

WHEN DOES WISDOM EXIST?
- Wisdom was appointed from eternity. (v. 23)
- Its birth began without oceans nor spring water. (v. 24)
- It was before the mountains and hills were settled in place. (v. 25)
- It was before the earth was made or its fields or any of the dust of the world. (v. 26)
- It was there when the heavens was set in place (v. 27)
- It was there when the clouds was established above and the fountains were fixed securely. (v. 28)
- It was there when the sea was given boundary and when the foundations of the earth was marked. (v. 29)
THOUGHTS:
- Listen to Wisdom – Wisdom guides us to make the right decisions, pick the best choices and enabler us to walk in the right path.
- Love Wisdom – Since God is the source of wisdom, so wisdom begins by knowing God. He is the creator of life so He gives insight to the living. Having a personal relationship with God is essential to obtain wisdom.
- Spend time at wisdom door – Read God’s Word and meditate in His truth to gain counsel, understanding. discernment, guidance and direction.
