This chapter shows a contrast between the righteous and the wicked. God delights in the righteous and saves them from death and trouble. They will flourish like healthy tree with sure rewards of hope, prosperity and wealth.
The mouth can be either a weapon or a tool. It is a weapon to destroy or a tool to build relationship. So, be careful with your words. Let your mouth be a constructive opportunity to build up and not to become a demolition site.
Godly people are not afraid of death because they have God’s gift of eternal life. But the evil people miss out on real life on earth and end up with eternal death.
God blesses those who are generous in their possession, time and energy. Everything we have are given by God to be used to help others. By giving, we gain freedom from enslavement to our possession, the joy of helping others and God’s approval.
A family provides acceptance, encouragement, guidance and counsel. Treasure your family and strive for healing, communication and understanding. Do not bring trouble to your family through anger or the desire to independence.
Be a godly person by gaining wisdom and becoming a model of meaningful life. Lead people to Christ through your good example.
No one can get away from sin. The righteous will be rewarded but the wicked will be punished..
