THOUGHTS:
Leaders of the government are very important. Wicked rulers are like fierce animals who drive the righteous into hiding. Ignorant leaders have no wisdom to lead a nation. Selfish rulers are grasping after money. They have no concern for others. When leaders are unjust, usually the poor will suffer and the rich will profit. We should pray for our leaders to be obedient to God’s laws and practice justice.
The Psalmist advised us not to conceal our sins but to confess and seek forgiveness from God. We must be willing to openly and graciously admit our mistakes and sins. Be sure to learn from our errors and make corrections so that it will not happen again.
God wants us to identify with the needy and not to ignore them. God promises to supply all our needs. So, are you willing to help God by supplying someone’s needs?
