WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN THE END COMES:
- Disaster is coming. (v. 5)
- There is panic not joy. (v. 7)
- God’s wrath will be poured out. (v. 8)
- Doom has burst, the rod has budded, arrogance has blossomed. (v. 10)
- Violence has grown into a rod to punish wickedness. No people will be left – no wealth, nothing of value. (v. 11)
- Both the buyer and seller will not rejoice. (v. 12-13)
- No one will go into battle though they blow the trumpet and get everything ready. (v. 14)
- Those in the country will die by the sword, and those in the city will be devoured by famine and plague. (v. 15)
- All those who survive and escape will be in the mountains, moaning like doves of the valleys, each because of his sins. (v. 16)
- Every hand will go limp, and every knee will become as weak as water. (v. 17)
- They will put on sackcloth and be clothed with terror. Their faces will be covered with shame and their heads will be shaved. (v. 18)
- They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be an unclean thing. Their silver and gold will not be able to save them in the day of the Lord’s wrath. (v. 19)

- The king will mourn, the prince will be clothed with despair, and the hands of the people will tremble. (v. 27)
THOUGHTS:
Ezekiel predicts the complete destruction of Judah. The wicked and proud will get what they deserve. God will judge according to the conduct and the detestable practices they did. Be assured that a day of judgment will also come to us. God is waiting patiently for sinners to repent. But when his judgment comes, no wicked people will survive.
