  6.  Unjust gain (v. 9)

  8.  Crime (v. 12)
  9.  Drunkenness (v. 15a)

THOUGHTS:

Christians may feel angry and discouraged when we see evil and injustice unpunished.  We feel unfair that God has done nothing to those wicked people.  But God’s answer to us is to be patient and wait.  For it will certainly take place.  We must trust God even when we don’t understand why.

“The just will live by faith” (v. 4 ) is an encouraging word to Christians who are living through difficult times without seeing signs of hope.  Christians must trust God that He is directing all things according to his purpose and time.

Idolatry is not just bowing down to idols only.  It is something that we put our trust and care more than trusting God.  So, be careful:  wealth, prestige, family, business, organization may become our idols.
