[:en]David wrote this Psalm when he had fled from Saul into the cave. He took his harp and lyre to sing praises to God inside the cave. How could David turn his situation into a song?
- He knows God will protect him (v. 1). He took refuge in the shadow of His wings
- He believed in God’s love and faithfulness (vs. 2-3). He declared: “for great is your love, reaching to the heaves. Your faithness reaches to the skies (v. 10).
- He exalted God above the heavens (v. 5) by making music to glorify Him.
If you are in a cave, take David’s approach. Trust him, exalt Him and sing praises to the Lord![:]
