After Adam and Eve sinned by disobeying God, they hid from Him in the garden. But the Lord God still called Adam. (Gen. 3:9).
God the Father desires to have a relationship with us. That’s why He sent His only Son to earth to pay the penbalty for our sin by His death on the cross. “This is how God showed His love … He sent His Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they have done to our relationship with God” (1 John 4:9-10) – (James Banks)
Let us respond to His love by heeding His calling and follow Him.
