[:en]SILENCE

When Habakkuk saw rampant oppression he asked:  “How long, Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen?” (Hab. 1:2)  But God had noticed, and He said:  “Woe to him who piles up stolen goods … who builds his house by unjust gain!” (Hab. 2:6,9).

We want God to make a quick judgment.  But the appropraite response to God’s silence is … silence!  We often neglect to see our own spiritual poverty.  We  do not see our own sinfulness in the presence of a holy God.  We should learn to trust God’s control and timing. – (Tim Gustafson)[:]
