“These commandments that I give to you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children” (Deut. 6:6-7)
God encouraged His people to teach younger generations to obey the Scriptures. They are to grow in reverence of Him, to know Him intimately, to love Him completely and to follow Him obediently. As we saturate our hearts with Scripture, we will be better prepared to share God’s love and truth with childrenl We can lead by example, equip and encourage young people to recognize and respect authority and relevance of God[‘s unchanging truth. IDeut. 6:8-9}. Let us leave a strong legacy of faith to be passed down from generation to generation. (Deut. 4:9)
