[:en]Thoughts from Psalms 130[:]

[:en]The Psalmist was in a very dangerous situation:

  1. He was in depth – He cried out to the Lord for mercy (v. 1)
  2. He was in the court – He could not stand with a record of sins (v. 3).  He was asking for forgiveness
  3. He was in the dark – He was like a watcher waiting for the morning (v. 6).  He was waiting for God to give him light in the morning.
  4. He was under siege – He had the hope that God will redeem him and set him free (vs. 7-8).

Sometimes, you will also experience similar situation like David.  When you are overwhelmed with despair and distress, cry out to the Lord.  He hears you and He will rescue you.  When you are facing trials of your sin, Jesus is your defense.  He had paid the penalty of  your sins and had forgiven you.  When you feel that darkness never ends and morning will never come, God will give you the dawning of a new day.  He will give you light to see.  When you become slaves and bound by your own sins, the Savior will come to save you and give you future hope.   God hears your prayers.  He holds your hands.  He gives you light and He will set you free.[:]
