[:en]Warning Against Adultery:

This world has degraded into a place of commercial sex and turned adultery into entertainment.  Solomon warned people about the tragic consequences of sexual sin.  Sexual immorality destroys family life.  It erodes a person’s ability to love.  It makes human being like an object.  It can lead to disease.  It is like walking a path that leads to death.

The sweet talk of an andulteress tastes sweet and smooth like honey but at the end, it turns to bitter as gall and sharp as double edged sword.  Her paths are crooked, her steps lead life into death.  By following her, you lose your honor, your best strength, your wealth, your joy and your very life.  Your freedom becomes the worst kind of bondage.

“Drink water from your own cistern,  running water from your own well pictures the faithfulness of marriage.  It means that you should enjoy the spouse God has given you.  In desert, land water is precious and well is the family’s most important possession.  In Old Testament times, it was considered a crime to steal water from soneone’s well.  Similary, it is a crime to have sexual relation with another man’s wife.  The offender is endangering his health, ruining the security and disturbing the peace of the family.

Couples are to look to each other in life-long companionship and satisfaction.  When marriage becomes dull, many temptations entice husband and wives to leave their spouses and find exitement and pleasures somewhere else.  But God designs and sanctifies marriage as a covenant relationship to find real love and fulfillment.  Instead of finding greener pasture somewhere else, rejoice with your spouse and enjoy your relationship.

God intends marriage to be pleasurable.  Sex is a gift of God to married people for their mutual satisfaction.  Real happiness can be attained if couples commit to meet his or her needs.  To pursue sexual pleasure outside of marriage is against God’s command.  He or she will never get blessings from God.[:]
