[:en]THE TURN
Haman hated Mordecai. In his desire to take revenge, he plotted to destory the Jews. But, at the darkest moment, a godless king granted the enslaved Israelites to defend themselves against those who sought their demise (Est. 8:11-13). “For the Jews, it was a time of happiness, and joyu, gladness and hnor” (Est. 8:16)
God had turned an attempted genocide into a celebration and a crucifixion into resurrection and salvation. A succesful defense and a celebration ensued (Est. 9:17-19). So, it is not surpising when God shows His presence when we least expect Him. =(Tim Gustafson)
