[:en]EARNESTLY SEARCHING
The Jews were under the captivity in Babylon for 70 years before they returned to Jerusalem and Judah. God fulfilled His promise to call them back and restore their honor with a new name, “Sought after, the City No Longer Deserted” (Isa. 62:12). He searched for them from all the scattered areas to bring them back to Himself.
Like the children of Israel, we too are being sought after by God. Though our sins cause us to isolate from Him, Jesus’ sacrifice paves our way back to Him. He is searching for each one of us, w aiting expectantly to fold us into a heartfelt embrace. – (Kirsten Holmberg)
