[:en]STEPPING INTO STRENGTH

When the Israelites were celebrating the return of the ark of the covenant to Jerusalem, David gave this advice:  “Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always” ( 1Chron. 16:11).  David told the Israelites to recount God’s faithfulness during their struggles.  He reminded them to always praise Him and “cry out” to the Lord ((1 Chron. 16:35)

Let us turn our hearts towards God.  Our Good Shepherd will direct our paths and keep us in His mercy, strength and love.  May we declare our dependence on Him. – (James Banks)[:]
