Her eyes are like doves
Her air like a flock of goats
He teeth are like a flock of sheep just shorn
He lips are like a scarlet ribbon that drops sweetnes as the honeycomb
Her mouth is lovely
Her temples are like the halves of a pomegranate
Her neck is like the tower of David built with elegance
Her two breats are like two fawns of gazelle that browse among the lilites
The lover is waiting her bride to be with him. He waits to express his love and care to her (v. 9-11). He sees his bride a garden being locked up, a spring being enclosed, and a fountain being sealed. He wants the bride to bring out her plants of pomegranates with choice fruits, with henna and nard, saffron, calamus and cinnamon, with every kind of incense tree, with myrrh and aloes and all the finest spices.
But soon, the north and south winds will come to blow on the garden, so that its frgrance may spread abroad.
Application:
Let your heart listen to what God will be telling you in His Word and rest in His love. See Him in His creation and feel his providential care for you. Express your love to Him, open your life to him, and let Him bring out the best in you. Sometimes God let trials come to purify and bless you. You are His unique garden and He is your Gardener.
