When the people of Israel were wandering in the desert, the Lord reminded them that He cared for them as a loving parent who hovers over its young. He never left them, but was like an eagle “that spreads it wings” to catch its children and “carries them aloft” (Deut. 32:11) He wanted them to remember that although they experienced hardship and strife in the desert, He did not abandon them.
We may also face many kinds of chalenges. But we can take comfort and courage that our God never leaves us. The Lord will spread His wings like an eagle to catch us and bring us peace. He hovers over us with love. – Amy Boucher)[:]
