[:en]THE SONG OF THE VINEYARD (vs. 1-7)
The nation of Israel was the vineyard that God had labored so much. But it yielded only bad fruits because people took for granted His blessings. They were selfishly serving themselves instead of serving God. As a result, they became a corrrupt nation.
WOE & JUDGMENTS (vs. 8-30)
The rich stole land from the poor (v. 8). People induged in sensual pleasures (vs. 11-12), They were deceitful and wicked (v. 18). They questioned God’s covenant. (v. 19). They were evil doers and drunkhards (vs. 20-22). They acquited the guilty for a bribe and deny justice to the innocent (v. 23). So God stretched out this hard judgment against His people like prairie fire (vs. 24-25). The enemies were coming to invade and conquer the land (vs. 26-30)
