[:en]Thoughts from Isaiah 6[:]

[:en]Isaiah saw the vision of the Lord seated on the throne high and exalted in perfect control of everything  (vs. 1-4).  He saw himself as a sinner with unclean lips.  When he confessed his sins, the Lord cleaned his guilt (vs. 5-7).  Then he heard God calling him to preach message to the rebellious people – ears that did not hear, eyes that did not see and hearts that are calloused (vs. 9-10).  He responded with obedience and obeyed His will without fear (vs. 11-13).

When things on earth are discouraging, look at things from heaven’s point of view.  Focus on God’s holiness, sovereignty and glory.

Have you examined yourself and admitted that you have sins that need to confess?  Let God cleanse you and take away your guilt.  What will be your response if God is calling you for His service?[:]
