[:en]Since Moab was the descendants of Lot with her daughter and Lot was the nephew of Abraham, they should have made peace with Judah and gone to Jerusalem for asylum.  But their pride prevented from seeking the God of Israel.  Therefore, they were invaded by the Assyria army and in total ruin.  Joy and gladness were taken away from them.  Moab’s splendor and all her people will be despised with only very few survivors remaind.
