[:en]Thoughts from “Our Daily Bread” (4/26/17)[:]

[:en]God’s Word is “A lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Ps. 119:105).  “It is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness” (2 Tim. 3:16).

In Psalms 119 1-8, God’s word is also called law, statute, precept, decree, scripture and command.  “His word is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword.  It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow.  It judges the thoughts at attitudes of the heart” (Heb. 4:12).

His word has been translated into more than 2000 languages.  It is outstanding, it fulfills prophecies and it changes lives.

“Are you reading His Word and obeying His commands?*[:]
