[:en]God promised the Israelites to send spring and autumn rains on one condition: that they faithfully obey His command to love Him and to serve Him with all their hearts, with all their souls and with all their minds. The Lord was taking His people to a place where their obedience and His blessings would make them shine among the people around them.
