[:en]SCRIPTURE: JOB 11
“Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty?” (Job 11:7)
“If you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your heart, then you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and without fear” (Job 11:14-15)
“But the eyes of the wicked will fail; and escape will elude them; their hope will become a dying gasp” (Job 11:20)
ZOPHAR
The sermon of Eliphaz stressed that man is sinful. Bildad talked about God is just. Now Zophar pointed out that God punishes sin and gives less than we really deserve it. Zophar pointed out that no one can fathom the mysteries of God, for He recognizes deceitful men and sees evil. He asked Job to put away sin and repent and seek God, so that God would hear him. His life will be brighthen and he would be more secure with hope. Otherwise, he won’t escape death (v. 20)[:]
