“Give me O God, the pledge you demand. Who else will put up security for me? (Job 17:3)
“If a man denounces his friends for reward, the eye of his children will fail” (Job 17:5)
“Nevertheless, the righteous will hold their ways, and those with clean hands will grow stronger” (Job 17:9)
When Job saw his future was a decarying body, death and grave, he was wondering “where then is my hope? ” His plans were shattered and his desires faltered. He cried out to the Lord: “Give me the pledge your demand. Who else will put up security for me?”[:]
