[:en]SCRIPTURE: JOB 26
“By his power he churned up the sea; by his wisdom he cut Rahab to pieces. By his breath the skies became fair; his hand pierced the gliding serpent” (Job 26:21-13)
Job rebuked Bildad for giving him no help at all. Bildad’s advices ware without wisdom and insights. He was unable to encourage the powerless nor save the weak.
Here is Job’s view of God:
- No one can escape the eye of God, not even the dead (vs. 65–5-6)
- He spreads out the skies over empty space and suspends the earth on nothing (v. 7)
- He wraps up the water in the cloud without bursting despite of its weight (v. 8)
- He covers the moon and spreads his cloud on it (v. 9)
- He marks out the horizon with light and darkness (v. 10)
- The pillars of the heavens quake at his rebuke (v. 11)
- He churns up the sea with his power (v. 12)
- The skies became fair by his breath (v. 13)
- The voice of God in creation is but a whisper and we see only the “fringes” of his works (v. 14a)
- His thunder is powerful and nobody can understand Him (v. 14b)
Let us keep in mind that we only know in part. As we want to help others, be sure your words can bring up help and hope to those who need it.[:]
