[:en]SCRIPTURE: PSALM 7

“My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart. God is a righteous judge, God who expresses his wrath every day” (Psalm 7:10-11)
“I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness, and will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High” (Psalm 7:17)
Cush was a Benjamite who flattered Saul to make life difficult for David. David composed this Psalm to tell God about the agony of being pursued by his enemies. He took refuge in the Lord knowing that He will save and deliver hi He was willing for God to examine and punish him if he is guilty. At the same time, he asked God to bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure.
David considered God the Most High. He was his shield and his righteous judge. He gave thanks to the Lord and sing praises to Him because of his righteousness.[:]
