[:en]SCRIPTURE:  PSALM 15

“Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary?  Who may live on your holy hill?” (Psalm 15:1)

David described the kind of person who is able to live with God:

  1. His feet walks blamelessly.
  2. His hands work righteously.
  3. His lips speaks truthfully.
  4. His tongue does not slander nor cast slur on people.
  5. He despises a vile man and knows those who fear the Lord.
  6. He keeps his oath even when it hurts.
  7. He lends money without usury.
  8. He does not accept bribes against the innocent.

In other words, those who are qualified to dwell in God’s house and in fellowship with Him must have a clean feet, clean hands, and a clean heart that produce clean words with clean motive.

Let us examine our walk, our works and words.  Do we keep our promises?  What improvements do we need to make our character more Christlike?  May we meditate on this Psalm to deepen our relationship with God and men.
