Our Daily Verse (12/3/20)

[:en]SCRIPTURE:  PSALM 41

“Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers him in times of trouble.  The Lord will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes” (Psalm 41:1-2)

In my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever” (Psalm  41:12)

As David was sick, he recalled that he had helped the weak and the poor in the past.  It encouraged him because he knew God will protect him.  The Lord will sustain him in his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness (v. 3)

When he looked around, he saw his enemies e\were saying malice against him wishing him dead.  even his close friends turned against him.

But David turned his face upon the merciful God.  He was confident that God would heal him and uphold him because of his integrity.  His enemies won’t triumph over him for God had raised him up.

A man of integrity is one whose character is pleasing to the Lord.  He has an undivided heart to serve one master.  God is concerned about our character not reputation.   Character is what God knows about you.  Reputation is what people think about you.  When you fear God, you will walk in integrity.  Your character will be pleasing to him.  You will have an undivided heart to serve the Lord.  Try to improve your character by yielding to Jesus![:]
