[:en]SCRIPTURE:  PSALM 54

“Save me, O God, by your name; vindicate me by your might.  Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth” (Psalm 54:1-2)

“Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me” (Psalm 54:4)

“I will sacrifice a freewill offering to you; I will praise your name, O Lord, for it is good.  For he has delivered me from all my troubles, and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes” (Psalm 54:6-7)

David was in trouble when the Ziphites went to tell Saul that he was hiding among them.  David began with prayer asking God to save him and vindicate him in His might.

Then, we see a turning point when David trusted the Lord to help and sustain him.  He ended his psalm with praise.  For God had delivered him with victory against his foes.

When you have a problem, turn to prayer.  Make God the mainstay of your life.  Believe that God is going to hear and answer.  Then your trouble will soon be turned into triumph.[:]
