[:en]SCRIPTURE:  PSALM 59

“O my Strength, I watch for you; you, O God,m are my fortress, my loving God.  God will go before me and will let me gloat over those who slander me” (Psalm 59:9)

But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble” (Psalm 59:16)

“O my Strength, I sing praise to you; you, O God, are my fortress, my loving God” (Psalm 59:16)

Saul sent men to watch David’s house in order to kill him.  David was able to escape but he endured danger and was exiled for many years.  He cried out to the Lord to deliver and protect him from his enemies.  He described his enemies snarling like dogs prowling about the city.  They wandered about for food and howled if not satisfied.

But David was rejoicing in the Lord.  He was singing in times of danger.  He sang of His strength and love.  For God was his fortress and refuge in times of trouble.  David started this Psalm by praying and ended it by praising the Lord.

Do you have enemies spying on you?  Start you day by praying for God’s mercy and strength.  When God is your power, strength and defense, you can face your enemies in any circumstances.  For God shall make you secured in His hands.  And remember to sing songs of praise in the morning.[:]
